Turning the big 2-0!

Well, in a week and day, I will be finally out of my teens. I don't mean to be relieved but secretly I am. I am finally rid of the teen angst that has plagued my kind for centuries. Of course this all in a metaphorical sense. I feel full of that angst. I am seemingly going through a quarterlife crisis about 5 years early. Am I going to go through an additional one or two years just to add a minor that I don't really need but I just want because I feel a passion for it? Oh well. Let's talk about what's happened this year, shall we?
I found a new best friend/roommate who tolerates my wackiness and balances me with a sense of realism, logic, and common sense.
I got to travel to Arizona and loved it! I actually saw palm trees. It was amazing!
I made some awesome friendships with people I would never met before going to Missouri State.
I bought a laptop and discovered the magic and wonder of Youtube and Hulu.
I became an aunt again to a beautiful niece.
I actually made a great friendship through Facebook, Youtube, and the greatest webshow ever, Dorm Life.
That's about it. Oh wait, here's a little non-sappy ditty to end this angsty blog

  1. Aww birthday times! I love it! And just so you know, this will be the best decade of your life (so far)!!! And I also love the Jake & Amir plus Julia Nunes. She is pretty flippin' awesome.

Had fun chatting last night as always! Can't wait to compare notes once the DL DVD comes out!

  2. I don't even know if I am getting the DL DVD. I want it. I think one of my friends who I got hooked is getting it, so I will borrow it from her.
PS. The RAs at the residence hall that I live in are slowly getting hooked. I went to the front desk last night and one of them was watching "Turkey Drop". I just had to laugh.
